One of the things I always tell people when they’re scared of doing something, or they’re nervous in the moment is:
”This only happens once.”

Now, what I don’t say is what resonates. “Make the most of it.” “One day you’ll look back and be proud.” All of those platitudes that come with seizing the moment, and seizing the day.
