What is an irrefutable truth of life? One is that it’s ephemeral. Each moment is fleeting and to photograph something, then have that moment forever... it is an act of rebellion. Rebellion against the impermanence of life. Honoring old rules through juxtaposition. A save of a moment never to come again. That is photography for me.
Culture can be created without words. That is the power of imagery.
