True King.

You will never see a king crawl on his hands and knees. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t. When faced with morality and your own consciousness as the only judge; a true king understands one thing. And that is, that he is nothing.

Nothing and everything. Nothing compared to the responsibilities he carries and everything in the role that he plays. His will is not his own, his desires no longer belong to him. Everything he does, is for a greater purpose. He will fight that inner battle for life, crawling at times, fighting tooth and nail for what he believes in. That is a true king.

Envy
There are two types of envy; good and bad.

The first type of envy is good. It is a feeling of inferiority, and it motivates self improvement.

The second type of envy is bad. It is a malicious envy, and it motivates the envious to take good away from others.

There are two factors that dictate which type of envy will be felt. The degree of belief that one has been treated unfairly, and the belief that one’s disadvantage is their own fault.

The Advent of Nature
Today, there is this concept that nature is separate from us. It is a common saying that we are the top of the food chain. Separated and elevated above all the rest of nature.

There is a thing about the top though, and that is — it comes crumbling down when the foundation falters.

We are NOT separate from nature. We rely upon it. We are a part of the ecosystem just as much as the birds and the bugs. The sooner that we realize that we are not at the top of a food chain but rather, that we are the gardeners in a world full of life - caretakers... the better.

Think of something good that happened to you in the last 24 hours.

(I’ll give you time.)

Write it down, and hold onto that. It’s easy to forget what’s right in front of us.

To anyone that reads this, I send my appreciation.

Stay Warm.
