Life is a series of events that lead us to who we were always meant to become. The path to your highest self is laden with enticing detours, but always know that your path is straight.

I watched this short film called “If Anything Happens I love you.” and I’d only watch it if you are ready to feel something. It’s incredibly sad, and powerful, and it’s a 12 minute watch.

Cherish your loved ones. And let’s take some of the hate we feel for the culprits and turn it into energy to help the victims heal. The repercussions of certain things are overlooked and hatred has been favored in place of compassion in recent times.

There are many circumstances in life, but I feel that almost nothing is random. There are obstacles to test you and act as a mirror if you are only brave enough to look. There are people you meet once who will have more impact in that one meeting than an acquaintance you’ve seen a hundred times. There are things you will do, things you will work hard for that will crush you, in order to ask you “Is this really what you want?”

I am of the mind that persistence is king. Consistency is king. Your path is before you, and all you must do is walk it. Trust your intuition, be unafraid to make mistakes. Do not let the scars of the past cloud your current vision, and do not veer from left to right in pursuit of the winds. You may go slow, and you may go fast, but do not ever stop.

The law of inertia applies to humans as well. And don’t get discouraged if you are not in motion. Just understand that while it takes more energy to get a still object in motion — once you are in motion the energy to maintain is lessened.

If you are reading this, you have my deepest appreciation. Really. A lot of the times I feel that I do this for nothing. I wonder how many blogs I have written that have gone unread. Like notebooks on my own bookshelf….

I hope to shape my output better this coming year. To form a website I’m proud of and to put things into the world that feel excellent to me. I’m working hard towards it.
