The Divide.
Somewhere between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said there is a subliminal space. A space where no truth can hide. The truth hidden in this subliminal space seeps out; through our actions, our fumbling of words, our Freudian slips. In this subliminal space, everything is absolute. And though we may fight to change it, or hide it, it will always make itself known.
It’s simply a matter of time. And I think that’s why it’s so important to only entrust yourself to those who know themselves. There is no greater conflict than hearing words you want to hear, followed by actions that leave those words hollow.
In returning to yourself you must stay grounded. We are predisposed to cling, and erase, and just to make better in the short term. But, the mental body is not the physical body. It does not require a quick fix, a salve. You see, the physical body, it picks up scars from which it never fully heals. But our minds, our minds differ. We acquire attributes that remain with us for lifetimes. We acquire traumas, things we are too scared to look at. These, are our mental scars.
Take your time with your traumas. If you come to understand them, they just may become attributes.
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re out there living your best life. In the best way. In the way that brings you closest to your heart’s desires. Don’t bat an eye at the people who tell you not to. Have no mercy for those who do not understand. And use your station not as a place to put yourself above everyone, but a vantage point from which you can understand, and to the best of your ability, guide.
As always,
Stay Warm.
