Patience.

The world cup kicked off today! An exciting day for the world to watch soccer on its biggest stage. The month of the world cup is always a special time, so to kick it off I’m going to share with you a lesson soccer taught me.

As a younger player, I was always moving. Always trying to make any run I saw. Going after everything! I noticed some of the greats like Zlatan standing still for a moment and finding opportunities by doing that. That patience and clarity of mind to know when standing still is the best move is a great lesson to be learned.

In a sea of moving people sometimes you need to stand still to stand out.
