An Endless Reserve.
Motivation, Fuel, and Desire
I think that something people under appreciate is that even stars burn fuel to shine. With every output, there are input energies being used. Even with passive investments, it takes energy to begin.
And that’s something to think about in the people you care for.
I believe that to do great things there is a motivation that comes innately to many people. I think that many great things are born out of curiosity. How far can you take this, or that? How much could you improve upon what is already there? These factors and motivations are what spark the journey.
Then we have the fuel. I don’t understand everyone, and I won’t act like I do. But I know that nobody operates endlessly on willpower. Or upon habitual patterns. We must fuel our desires somehow. For me, I am a loving person. I like to take time to love myself and be with myself within the world. I like to give away love and to relax and appreciate the world as it is. I mean, one of my main aspirations in life is to make a living off of how I see the world and the people in it. So when I am tired, I love. And that’s how I refuel myself for the long and arduous journey that is carving out the life you desire in these modern times. What about you? Is it physical? Mental? Spiritual? Is it something you can do for yourself, or would you like to lean upon your community to help you refuel so that you can shine your best?
Take some time to contemplate this.
Lastly, we have desire, which I touched on briefly in the last paragraph. What do you truly desire? In a box, without judgement or perception, or anything else — what. do. you. want? A fast car? A huge house? A family? A community even? What kind of life can you envision for yourself and those around you?
Can you take on that responsibility and what does it look like? I think at some point, we fall in love with the journey itself. Just as stars light up the sky without knowing it, so too do humanity’s greatest heroes become the argonauts we all deserve.
My Week Synopsis
I shot a good friend’s show this week. As well as a fun event. I’m working hard at better organizing myself, my thoughts, and my work. I hope deeply in my heart to find the means and capability within myself to carve out the life that I want and believe I deserve. I will never sacrifice my values.
Stay warm friends.
